DESCRIPTION: 1,000 acres and over 15 miles of hiking trails make up this private, non-profit, nature preserve that is open to the public and offers nature exhibits and environmental education. The New York – New Jersey Trail Conference has a detailed description and a map of Teatown Lake. Also, the Teatown-Kitchawan Trail originates at Teatown Lake.
