DESCRIPTION: The original property of 200 acres was purchased in 2010 as town parkland and it was split into 125 acres for Granite Knolls Park and 75 acres west of Stony Street which is the Granite Knolls Sports Complex. The central feature of the Park is the house sized granite boulder known as the “Giant Boulder”. There are 7 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The 0.7 mile of trails in the Sports Complex are described in Sylvan Glen.
HOW TO GET THERE: Accessible by bike or foot from Woodland Legacy Fields via the pedestrian bridge over the Taconic, via the Yorktown Trailway, and from the parking lot for the Sports Complex.
